The Pennsylvania 10th Congressional District Reapportionment Plan (198.5 KiB) is a document created by the Pennsylvania General Assembly in response to the U.S. Census of 2000. The plan outlines the boundaries of the tenth congressional district in the state of Pennsylvania. It consists of three distinct types of plans: the Congressional Reapportionment Plan of 2011, the Congressional Reapportionment Plan of 2011-Modified, and the Congressional Reapportionment Plan of 2011-Adopted. The plan establishes the boundaries of the tenth congressional district, as well as the apportionment of population for each district. The plan is designed to ensure that districts are as equal in population as possible, and that the population of each district is as close to the state average as possible. The plan also outlines the requirements for distracting, including population, geography, and communities of interest. The plan also outlines the process for redistricting, if necessary.
