The Pennsylvania Storm Water Management Model Ordinance (126.5 KiB) is a comprehensive set of regulations designed to protect and manage Pennsylvania's water resources. It provides guidance on the implementation of stormwater management programs to reduce the impacts of stormwater runoff on local water resources. The ordinance sets requirements for stormwater management plans, stormwater treatment systems, stormwater permit requirements, and pollution prevention and control measures. It also provides guidance on the design, construction, and maintenance of stormwater management systems. There are two types of Pennsylvania Storm Water Management Model Ordinance (126.5 KiB): the Basic Ordinance, which is intended for small municipalities and counties, and the Comprehensive Ordinance, which is for larger municipalities and counties. Both ordinances are designed to meet the requirements of the Pennsylvania Stormwater Management Act and the federal Clean Water Act.
