The Pennsylvania 45th Judicial District Language Access Plan (316.3 KiB) is a comprehensive plan developed to ensure access to court services for individuals with limited English proficiency (LEP). The plan outlines language access policies and procedures for the 45th Judicial District, which includes the counties of Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Fayette, Washington, and Westmoreland. The plan provides guidance on court interpreter services, courtroom language access technology, and legal language services. It also provides information about training and education for court personnel and interpreters. The plan includes two types of language access plans: the Courtroom Language Access Plan and the System-Wide Language Access Plan. The Courtroom Language Access Plan outlines the requirements for court interpreters and language access technology in the 45th Judicial District, while the System-Wide Language Access Plan outlines the requirements for providing legal language services and training and education for court personnel and interpreters.
