The Pennsylvania Certification of Motor Vehicle Judgment (PCM VJ) is a form issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (Penn DOT). It certifies the amount of a judgment entered against an individual or business in a motor vehicle-related case in a Pennsylvania court. It is typically used to collect a judgment from a debtor’s motor vehicle license or registration. There are two types of Caves in Pennsylvania: a Certificate of Judgment and a Notice of Judgment. A Certificate of Judgment is an official court document that certifies a judgment against a motor vehicle-related defendant. A Notice of Judgment is an official court document that informs the defendant of their obligation to pay the judgment. In both cases, the PCM VJ is used to collect the judgment from the debtor’s motor vehicle license or registration.
