Oklahoma Appeal from Final Judgment is a legal process for appealing a court decision in the state of Oklahoma. It is an appeal made to the Oklahoma Supreme Court from a final judgment of an Oklahoma district court. The appellant must file a Notice of Appeal with the district court clerk within 20 days of the entry of the judgment. There are two types of Oklahoma Appeal from Final Judgment: a direct appeal and a discretionary appeal. A direct appeal is a direct review of the district court's decision and is available to any party in the case. A discretionary appeal is an appeal of right that is available to the appellant only if the Oklahoma Supreme Court allows it.
