Oklahoma Additional Findings at Time of Sentencing is a sentencing enhancement mechanism that allows the court to impose additional requirements on the defendant in addition to the sentence imposed. This includes, but is not limited to, community service, restitution, and/or treatment programs. The court can also impose the requirement of a substance abuse treatment program, anger management, or mental health treatment. There are two types of Oklahoma Additional Findings at Time of Sentencing: Mandatory Findings and Discretionary Findings. Mandatory Findings require the court to impose the additional requirements on the defendant regardless of the circumstances. Discretionary Findings allow the court to decide whether to impose the additional requirements on the defendant, depending on the facts of the case.
