Oklahoma Legislator Elements are the components that make up the Oklahoma State Legislature. They include the Oklahoma House of Representatives, the Oklahoma Senate, and the Governor of Oklahoma. Each of these elements is composed of elected officials, who are responsible for proposing and passing legislation related to the state of Oklahoma. The Oklahoma House of Representatives is composed of 101 representatives, each elected from a single-member district. The Oklahoma Senate is composed of 48 senators, each elected from a single-member district. The Governor of Oklahoma is the head of the executive branch of the state government, and is responsible for enforcing the laws passed by the legislature. Other elements of the Oklahoma State Legislature include the Lieutenant Governor, the Attorney General, the State Auditor and Inspector, and the State Treasurer.
