The policy also prohibits research or other activities not related to the educational topic being discussed. Examples of activities prohibited under this policy include using a device to make calls, send text messages, access social media, take photos, record audio or video, and conduct research. The policy also prohibits any type of online shopping or gambling. Different types of Oklahoma Use of Electronic Devices and Research Prohibited may include but are not limited to: BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) Policies, Acceptable Use Policies, and Student Internet Safety Policies.
