Ohio Application For Drug Safety Program is a program provided by the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services to help individuals and families in Ohio access substance abuse prevention, treatment, and recovery services. The program offers a variety of services including assessment and referral, crisis intervention, case management, and prevention and education. The program is offered in three main categories: the Ohio Drug Abuse Prevention Program (ODAPI), the Ohio Opioid Action Plan (OAP), and the Ohio Drug Overdose Prevention Program (ODOR). ODAPI focuses on prevention and education for youth in Ohio, while OAP works to reduce the number of opioid overdoses by providing access to medication-assisted treatment, overdose prevention education, and naloxone distribution. ODOR works to reduce the number of drug overdose deaths in the state by providing access to naloxone, overdose reversal training, and overdose prevention education.
