New York Civil Case Management and Scheduling Order (Judge Torres) is a court order issued by Justice Torres of the Supreme Court of New York. It sets out the management and scheduling of all civil cases that come before the court. The order includes provisions for case management conferences, discovery deadlines, motion practice, filing deadlines, and trial scheduling. It also includes provisions for the use of alternative dispute resolution and the appointment of neutrals. There are several types of New York Civil Case Management and Scheduling Order (Judge Torres). This includes the General Order, which applies to most civil cases; the Special Order, which applies to certain complex cases; and the Individual Order, which applies to cases in which the court has issued specific instructions.
