Nevada Guardianship — General Accounting is a specialized area of accounting used to manage the financial affairs of a person who has been appointed a guardian. This type of accounting is used to help manage the financial needs of the ward, or the person who has been legally appointed the guardian. It involves keeping track of all financial transactions and investments, as well as reporting financial activity on behalf of the ward to the court. There are two types of Nevada Guardianship — General Accounting: Probate Accounting and Non-Probate Accounting. Probate Accounting is used to manage the assets of an estate, whereas Non-Probate Accounting is used to manage the assets of a ward. Both types of accounting involve filing financial reports with the court, and providing the court with an accurate account of the ward’s financial activity.
