A Nevada Certificate of Mailing is a document that provides evidence of when and to whom a document was mailed. It is used to serve as proof of mailing in the event of a dispute or legal action. There are two types of Nevada Certificate of Mailing: a Certificate of Mailing for Domestic mail (for mailing within the United States) and a Certificate of Mailing for International mail (for mailing outside the United States). Both require the sender to provide the full recipient address, the number of pieces sent, the type of mail (such as First Class, Certified, or Registered), the date of mailing, and the signature of the sender. The Certificate of Mailing issued by the USPS is stamped and mailed to the sender, and can serve as legal proof that a document was sent.
