The Nevada Request To File Amended Arbitration Award is a legal document used to request a modification of an existing arbitration award in the state of Nevada. This document is typically used in situations where parties to an arbitration dispute have agreed upon a settlement but need to make a change or correction to the award. The request must be submitted to the court and a copy of the original award must be included with the request. There are two types of Nevada Request To File Amended Arbitration Award: 1) Motion to Amend Arbitration Award; and 2) Petition to Amend Arbitration Award. The Motion to Amend is used when the parties to the arbitration agree to the amendment while the Petition to Amend is used when one party objects to the amendment. Both types of requests must be accompanied by a written statement explaining the reason for the requested amendment.
