A New Jersey Statement of Redaction is a document used by a court in the state of New Jersey to redact or obscure information in a document that is filed with the court. The statement, which is signed by the party filing the document, is used to protect confidential information, such as private addresses or social security numbers, from being made public. There are three types of New Jersey Statement of Redaction: 1) General Redaction, which is used to obscure the full text of the document; 2) Partial Redaction, which is used to obscure only certain words or phrases within the document; and 3) Nondisclosure, which is used to protect specific confidential information from being made public.
