The North Carolina Application For Reinstatement Following Administrative Dissolution is a form used by businesses in North Carolina who have been administratively dissolved by the North Carolina Secretary of State. It is the first step in the process of reinstating the entity to its original status. There are two types of North Carolina Application For Reinstatement Following Administrative Dissolution, depending upon the type of entity: 1) for “For-Profit” Corporations and 2) for “Non-Profit” Corporations. The application requires basic information about the organization, such as the entity’s name, tax ID number, and the date of dissolution. Additionally, it will require the payment of all delinquent taxes, fees, and penalties due to the State of North Carolina. Once the application is submitted, the Secretary of State will review the application and, if approved, the entity will be reinstated.
