The Michigan Notice of Friend of The Court Case Closure is a form used by the state of Michigan to notify parents and guardians involved in a child custody or child support case that the case is being closed. This form is used when the court-ordered payment plan or other court order has been fulfilled, or if the Friend of The Court has determined that the case should be closed for any other reason. There are two different types of Michigan Notice of Friend of The Court Case Closure: Full Closure and Suspension without Termination. Full closure is when the case is completely closed, and no further action is required. Suspension without Termination is when the case is suspended for a period of time, but not closed. In either case, the form must be signed by a judge or magistrate before it can be issued.
