Michigan Declaration Re Electronic Filing is an agreement between the Michigan Department of Treasury and the taxpayer that allows the taxpayer to file their Michigan tax returns electronically. This agreement outlines the requirements for electronic filing, including access to the Michigan Department of Treasury’s e-file system, standards for data accuracy, and tax return submission. There are two types of Michigan Declaration Re Electronic Filing: The Michigan Declaration Re Electronic Filing for Individuals and the Michigan Declaration Re Electronic Filing for Businesses. Both of these documents must be signed and dated in order to be considered valid. By signing the declaration, the taxpayer is agreeing to the Michigan Department of Treasury's terms and conditions with regard to filing electronically.
