Maine Restated Certificate of Limited Partnership is a legal document used to update the information of an existing limited partnership registered with the Maine Secretary of State. It is used to make changes to the partnership agreement, including the partnership name, the address of the principal office, the names and addresses of the general partner(s), the duration of the partnership, the purpose of the partnership, and any other amendments to the partnership agreement. There are two types of Maine Restated Certificate of Limited Partnership: the Long Form and the Short Form. The Long Form is used to make amendments to the partnership agreement in addition to the information mentioned above, while the Short Form is used to make only minor amendments to the partnership agreement.
