Maine 4.18.924 Using or Carrying a Firearm During and in Relation to Drug Trafficking or Crime of Violence, 18 U.S.C. Sec. 924 (c) is a state law that prohibits individuals from using or carrying a firearm during and in relation to drug trafficking or crime of violence. This statute is a part of the federal Gun Control Act and is the same as the federal statute. The law states that no person shall knowingly use or carry a firearm during and in relation to drug trafficking or crime of violence. This includes an attempt to commit drug trafficking or crime of violence, or a conspiracy to commit drug trafficking or crime of violence.
