Maryland Any Year Form 1 — Annual Report and Personal Property Tax Return is a form used by businesses in the state of Maryland to report and pay their personal property taxes. This form is used to report the total value of taxable personal property owned or used by the business as of January 1 of the tax year. It also includes the business's estimated taxable net worth for the tax year. The form is due by April 15 of the tax year. There are two types of Maryland Any Year Form 1 — Annual Report and Personal Property Tax Return: Form 1 for businesses with Maryland taxable net worth less than $1 million, and Form 1-NR for businesses with Maryland taxable net worth greater than $1 million. Both forms include sections for reporting the value of business-owned personal property, such as computers and furniture, as well as reporting any depreciation expense. The forms also include a section for reporting the value of rental property owned by the business. Once completed, businesses must submit the form along with payment to the Comptroller of Maryland.
