The Massachusetts Employees Earning Report is a comprehensive annual report published by the Massachusetts Department of Labor Standards (DLS) that provides detailed information on the wages and salaries earned by all Massachusetts workers in the Commonwealth. The report includes data on the median wage, the average wage, and the top 10 percent wage earners for each occupation, as well as median wages for workers in the state by occupation. The report also includes data on overtime pay, shift differentials, and other forms of compensation. There are two types of the Massachusetts Employees Earning Report: the Annual Wage Survey and the Longitudinal Wage Survey. The Annual Wage Survey provides a snapshot of the wages and salaries earned in the state during the previous year, while the Longitudinal Wage Survey provides data on wage and salary trends over a longer period of time.
