Illinois Order On Rule To Show Cause (Child Support) is a court order issued by a judge in the state of Illinois to require a parent to appear in court and explain why they have failed to pay the court-ordered child support. This order is commonly referred to as a “Rule To Show CauseNTSCRTSC). The order will typically require the parent to appear in court at a certain date and time, and explain why they have not made the required child support payments. There are two types of Illinois Order On Rule To Show Cause (Child Support): one for the parent owing the child support (Respondent) and one for the parent who is owed the child support (Petitioner). The RespondentNTSC SCSC must be served on the Petitioner, while the PetitionerNTSC SCSC must be served on the Respondent.
