Illinois Notice Of Confidential Information Within Court Filing is a document that must be filed with the court when confidential information is included in any type of court filing. This document is required by the Illinois Supreme Court Rule 138. This notice informs the court and the parties of the confidential information included in the filing and explains the procedures for objecting to the disclosure of the confidential information. There are two types of Illinois Notice Of Confidential Information Within Court Filing: 1) Unredacted Notice, and 2) Redacted Notice. The Unredacted Notice is used when confidential information is included in the filing without any redactions or obscuring of the confidential information. The Redacted Notice is used when confidential information is included in the filing but has been redacted or obscured in some way. Both types of notices must be filed with the court and include the following information: the name of the person or entity submitting the filing; the court in which the filing is being made; the date the filing was made; the name of the case; the description of the confidential information; the name of the person or entity submitting the filing; and any additional information the court may require.
