A Hawaii Writ of Execution is a legal document issued by a court in the state of Hawaii to enforce a judgment against a debtor. It authorizes the sheriff or other court-appointed officer to seize and sell the debtor's assets or garnish wages in order to satisfy the judgment. There are two types of Hawaii Writ of Execution: 1) an Execution for Levy on Personal Property, which allows the sheriff to seize and sell the debtor's personal property to satisfy the judgment; and 2) an Execution for Wage Garnishment, which allows the sheriff to garnish a portion of the debtor's wages to satisfy the judgment.
