District of Columbia Subpoena for Pro Se Litigants is a form used to request documents or witness testimony from individuals or businesses in the District of Columbia. These subpoenas can be issued in both criminal and civil cases, allowing the recipient to respond in writing or appear in court. There are two types of District of Columbia Subpoena for Pro Se Litigants: a Subpoena for Documents and a Subpoena for Testimony. A Subpoena for Documents requires the recipient to produce specified documents or records, either to the court or to the party who issued the subpoena. A Subpoena for Testimony requires the recipient to appear and testify in court, either in person or by telephone. In either case, the Subpoena must be served in accordance with the District of Columbia Rules of Civil Procedure.
