The Alabama Corporate Parent Disclosure Statement is a document used by companies that are incorporated in the state of Alabama. It is filed with the Secretary of State and must be signed by the incorporated of the company. It is essentially a statement of the corporate parent's ownership, including the name and address of the corporate parent, the number of shares owned by the corporate parent, and the percentage of the total shares owned by the corporate parent. There are two types of Alabama Corporate Parent Disclosure Statement: the Domestic Statement and the Foreign Statement. The Domestic Statement is used for domestic corporations, while the Foreign Statement is used for foreign corporations. In either case, the statement must provide the name of the corporate parent, the number of shares owned by the corporate parent, and the percentage of the total shares owned by the corporate parent.
