The Alabama Certificate of Service (Appellant's Brief ARAP-08) is a document used to demonstrate that the filing of an appellant's brief has been completed and served on the other parties to the appeal. It is used in Alabama appellate court proceedings. The Certificate of Service must be filed with the appellate court clerk and must include a signature of the appellant's attorney, or another authorized person, attesting to the service of the brief. The certificate must also list the names and addresses of the parties to whom the brief was served. There are two types of Alabama Certificate of Service (Appellant's Brief ARAP-08): the original certificate and a copy to be served on the other parties.
