There are three types of withdrawal requests: Full Withdrawal Request, Partial Withdrawal Request, and Deferral Request. Full Withdrawal Request: Applicants who wish to completely withdraw their application must submit a Full Withdrawal Request. This request must be received by the Board of Bar Examiners no later than the deadline specified in the application instructions. Applicants who submit a Full Withdrawal Request will not be eligible to sit for the February 2018 Bar Exam, BE, or Reciprocity. Partial Withdrawal Request: Applicants who wish to withdraw from the BE or Reciprocity portion of the exam must submit a Partial Withdrawal Request. This request must be received by the Board of Bar Examiners no later than the deadline specified in the application instructions. Applicants who submit a Partial Withdrawal Request will still be eligible to sit for the February 2018 Bar Exam, but not for the BE or Reciprocity portion. Deferral Request: Applicants who wish to defer their application to a later date must submit a Deferral Request. This request must be received by the Board of Bar Examiners no later than the deadline specified in the application instructions. Applicants who submit a Deferral Request will be eligible to sit for the February 2018 Bar Exam, BE, or Reciprocity on the date they specify in the request.
