Alabama Law School Dean's Certification is a document issued by the Dean of an accredited law school in the state of Alabama. The Certification is a verification of a student's academic record and is typically used to satisfy the requirements of a legal employer. The Certification includes details such as the student's name, legal education, class standing, honors and awards, and cumulative grade point average. There are two types of Certification: Certified Transcript, which is issued after the student has completed their law degree; and Certified Letter, which is issued before the student has completed their law degree. Both Certifications are signed by the Dean of the Law School and have an official seal.
