Job Description Child daycare administrators oversee the business management, finances and budgets of childcare facilities. Administrators supervise the childcare workers and pre-school teachers and ensure the facility's staff meets state requirements for education and training.
The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) requires child care programs (center-based or family child care) to complete an online pre-licensing training. Visit the ODJFS website for more information on the requirements, rules and licensing process.
For families earning less than $65,000 per year, the new subsidy will cover up to 85 per cent of their costs. For families earning between $65,000 and $170,000 the rate will gradually taper to 50 per cent of costs.
To qualify for CCDF, your family's gross monthly income (before taxes and any other deductions) cannot be more than 127% of the federal poverty level. Your family can stay in the program until your income is more than 85% of the Indiana median income guidelines by family size.
