Louisiana Social Security Complaints are formal complaints filed by individuals or organizations that have experienced an issue with the Social Security Administration's (SSA) services, programs, or benefits in the state of Louisiana. These complaints can include issues such as denied applications, delayed payments, incorrect benefit calculations, or problems with the appeals process. There are two types of Louisiana Social Security Complaints: formal complaints and appeals. Formal complaints are filed with the SSA's Office of Hearings Operations in the state of Louisiana and are adjudicated by Administrative Law Judges. Appeals are filed with the SSA's Appeals Council after a formal complaint has been denied. Both formal complaints and appeals must be filed within 60 days of the denial of the initial claim.
