California CCW Permit Renewal Class for Orange County and Los Angeles County Residents. Your California CCW Permit is valid for 2 years. If you desire to renew your California CCW Permit for an additional 2 years, You should start the process 90 – 120 days prior to expiration!
Pursuant to Penal Code section 26220, the periods of validity for each CCW license type are as follows: Standard CCW license: any period of time not to exceed two years. Employment CCW license: any period not to exceed 90 days. Judicial CCW license: any period of time not to exceed three years.
