The University requires matriculated undergraduate students enrolled prior to fall 2023 and under the age of 21 or with fewer than ninety earned credit hours (senior standing) to live on campus. Students who fall under the residency requirement must actually reside on campus.
University of Dallas Alcohol Policy Students of legal drinking age are permitted to drink in moderation and store alcoholic beverages in their own residence hall rooms or in their student apartment if all other residents and guests of that room or apartment are of legal drinking age.
If you would like to share your room with a specific person, you will need to indicate your roommate preference. Students can submit a roommate request, and once approved, they will be paired together.
What is my bed size? Beds in the University Commons residence halls and in the Canyon Creek Heights North apartments are Twin XL. Beds in the Canyon Creek Heights South apartments are full sized. University Village apartments are unfurnished, so residents need to bring their own furniture.
All students enrolled in The University of Texas at Austin are eligible to live in University-owned housing. Students are not required to live on campus and may choose to live on or off campus. Freshmen are encouraged to consider living in University residence halls.
Application Process UT Dallas does not have a live-on requirement for first-year students.
On-campus housing, dining, and student life facilities are a vital part of the process of educating students at the University of North Texas. In support of institutional goals of promoting education and personal welfare of students, all first-year college students are required to live in on-campus residence halls.

Each student is provided with several pieces of furniture in the dorms: Twin x-long bed and mattress (38" x 80")
