The in-state rate for students taking fewer than 16 credit hours in the Fall or Spring semester or fewer than nine hours in the Summer term is $76 per credit hour. Tuition for out-of-state residents is $4,288 per term in the Fall and Spring semesters and $2,412 for the Summer term.
Wake Tech Foundation scholarships Both merit-based and need-based scholarships are available. Scholarships are also offered on a competitive basis that considers academic excellence, achievement, leadership qualities, need and other criteria as stipulated by the donor.
Similar to federal law, state law provides that contributions made to a qualified tuition program are not deductible.
TA pays up to 100% of tuition expenses for semester credit hours costing $250 or less per credit hour, or $166 per quarter hour, if your institution follows a quarter system.
In most cases, prior approval is required from your employer before enrollment. You'll also want to confirm whether your employer requires you to remain employed for a specified period after the course is completed. Make sure you check with HR so you're not left with unexpected tuition obligations.
TA is authorized for part-time enrollment. Airmen must maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher with completion of 15 SH or equivalent for undergraduate studies or a GPA of 3.0 or higher for graduate studies, on a 4.0 grading scale.
