Description

The Educational Assistance Program for Employees in Michigan offers eligible full-time employees the opportunity to receive financial support for their educational pursuits. To qualify, employees must have at least one year of service, and the courses they choose should be relevant to their current job or future positions within the company. The program provides reimbursement for tuition and registration fees, with a tiered reimbursement structure based on the grade received, allowing for up to 100% reimbursement for an 'A' grade. Employees seeking reimbursement must submit required forms for approval from their supervisor and the human resources department prior to starting courses. They must also maintain employment throughout the course duration and submit proof of payment and grades upon completion. This form is particularly useful for attorneys, partners, owners, associates, paralegals, and legal assistants who want to invest in their professional development while adhering to program guidelines. It ensures clarity in the reimbursement process, sets expectations for both parties, and serves as a formal agreement to enhance skills relevant to their careers.
