The Fulton County Board of Education approved bonuses for all full-time employees that go beyond Gov. Brian Kemp's recommended $1,000 for educators and support staff using state funds.
The proposed 2022-2023 School Calendar includes a total of 178 instructional days for students: 86 days for First Semester and 92 days for Second Semester.
In Fulton, even teachers with less than ten years' experience get 15 general leave days a year. General leave includes sick days and personal days off, ing to the study. Teachers in Newark, N.J., with 25 years of experience get 28 general leave days a year, more than any school system in the country.
TAP pays for a maximum of 9 credit hours per semester based upon the undergraduate or graduate rate of the University System of Georgia (USG) institution you are attending. There are 26 USG institutions from which to choose. (You must follow the regular admissions process applicable to each institution.)
Short-Term Disability (STD) insurance is available for eligible employees providing income if they become disabled. Benefits begin either 15 or 45 days after disability occurs (or the expiration of all available leave, which ever is later) and provides 50% to 60% of your base salary.
Canadian families can qualify to receive 20% of the first $2,500 contributed into RESPs for each child each year up to and including the calendar year in which he or she turns 17. The maximum contribution from CESG is $7,200 per child.
Payment limits applicable to EAPs Budget 2023 introduced legislation to increase the EAP limits from $5,000 to $8,000 for full-time studies and from $2,500 to $4,000 for part-time studies. The legislation received Royal Assent on June 22, 2023.
