Description

The Educational Assistance Program for Employees in Florida aims to promote employee development through educational benefits. This program provides partial reimbursement for tuition and registration fees for courses at accredited institutions that are directly related to an employee's job or career advancement. Eligible participants include full-time regular employees who have completed at least one year of service. The reimbursement structure is based on grades received, with 100% coverage for an 'A', 75% for 'B' or pass-fail courses, and 50% for 'C', while grades lower than 'C' do not qualify for reimbursement. Employees must secure prior approval from their supervisor and the human resources department, and meet specific requirements for reimbursement, including being actively employed at the course's completion. The document also includes a repayment clause if an employee leaves the organization within two years of receiving reimbursement. This form is beneficial for attorneys, partners, owners, associates, paralegals, and legal assistants, as it provides clear guidelines for both employers and employees on accessing educational benefits, ensuring compliance with company policies and maximizing employee skills development.
