Dress guidelines: Many schools have policies that outline appropriate and inappropriate attire. These guidelines typically specify the length of shorts and skirts, the coverage of shoulders and midriffs, and restrictions on offensive or distracting clothing.
DRESS CODE SPECIFICATIONS Pants/jeans and shorts must fit at the waist and must not sag. Pants/jeans must be straight-legged and pockets must be the standard front pockets. No “baggies” or loose-fit pants are permitted. Shorts, skirts, and skorts must be no shorter than three inches above the knee.
CHART HOUSE Our suggested attire is business or dressy casual. No beachwear, gym attire, baseball caps, athletic apparel, or excessively revealing clothing will be allowed in the restaurant. Admittance is at the discretion of management.
Students must wear (while following Principle 1 above): a shirt, with fabric that touches the waistband in the front and back and on the sides under the arms; pants/jeans or the equivalent (skirt, sweat-pants, leggings, a dress, shorts); and shoes.
A school uniform is a standard set of clothes that students wear when they go to some schools. It might have a particular color of trousers or skirt, a matching shirt and sometimes a jacket or necktie, with matching shoes.
