Dynasty Basics The key difference between a dynasty league and a standard redraft league is that when the season ends, all the players don't go back into the draft pool for next year. Instead, managers get to keep some or all of their players on their roster when the season ends.
Go on your main team page on ESPN fantasy and find the "Edit Auto-Pick Strategy" button before the draft begins. Once you click on it, you will reach the edit page where you will find the drafts of each round. By choosing from the pull-down menu, you can select the positions you need to draft.
On the ESPN Fantasy App Tap on Edit Draft Settings. Select the new draft date and then tap Update Draft Settings. On the Web. Click on LM Tools then Edit Draft Settings. Select a "New Draft Date/Time" and click Save.
Comments Section LM Tools > Edit draft settings (Under Draft tools)> Set draft order to 'Manually set by LM. Go back to LM Tools and under draft tools there should be an option to edit draft order. Also just enabling draft pick trading will make a draft order, then you can go and randomize it if you want.
Again, the most mathematically sound/reliable option is the 5th or 6th round, but you could make do with any decision, especially depending on the people you are drafting with.
Most dynasty leagues operate like the NFL. That is, the draft order is determined by the reverse order of the previous season's standings. The last-place team picks first and the champion picks last.
On the ESPN website, have the league manager select ``Manually select by League Manager'' under the draft settings. Then go to edit draft order, and there's a randomize button. Just click that a couple times and save.
Step-by-Step Directions Click "schedule your draft" on the league home page. Select your draft type. Pick the date and time of your draft, followed by how many seconds each team manager will get per pick. Drafts can also be scheduled by going to the League Settings page and clicking on Draft Settings.
