An Affidavit of Support, also called the Form I-864, is a document an individual signs to accept financial responsibility for the applicant who is coming to live in the United States. The person who signs the Affidavit of Support is also called the “sponsor.”
Driver's License or State ID: As it shows your permanent residence, a valid U.S. driver's license can act as proof of domicile. Voting Records: Registering to vote and taking part in American elections also show proof of U.S. domicile.
In the United States and Canada, you can also use a rental agreement, insurance policy, credit card statements, and utility bills for proof of address verification. Another method for proof of address verification documents is to use a company that helps residents arriving in the country.
Documents. Proof of U.S. Citizenship can be one of the documents listed below: Previously issued passport. Certified copy of Birth Certificate. The Birth record must be certified with the registrar's signature and raised, impressed, embossed, or multicolored seal, and contain the date filed.
