The purpose of this guide is to provide instructions to Agencies (IA) on project control and contract. AIA Document C403™-2021 is a standard form agreement where a client can hire a consultant to perform design assist services for a project.The Consultant shall cooperate with the Owner and its employees, and the Owner's other consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and others involved. The Consultant agrees to provide complete consultant services necessary to complete planning, design, and construction administration of the Project. The Prime Consultant shall prepare and submit contract documents in accordance with the Client's requirements, as outlined in the PMDA Manual. CONSULTANT shall work closely with RCPA staff and their contract management agents in the performance of all work pursuant to this Agreement. 1.2. The City desires to engage the Consultant for the delivery of Design Services for the Centre. A design consultant agreement is a contract that defines the working relationship between an independent design consultant and their client.
