The purpose of the Work Study Program is the employment of students who are enrolled as undergraduate, graduate or professional students who are in need of earnings from employment to pursue courses of study at eligible institutions.
Work study jobs are partially funded by the federal or state government. The FWS program gives students the opportunity to work on campus or in a community service position on a part-time basis. Students may work up to 20 hours per week and receive the funds for actual hours worked from Collin College.
What are the GPA requirements? Cumulative GPAs are generated from the Admissions department. If you do not have a GPA with Collin College, the system will generate a GPA from your previous high school, college or university. All applicants are required to have a minimum GPA of at least 2.5.
If you need more information or have questions, contact Collin College HR Benefits at 972-599-3152.
How to write an email to HR Properly address your email. If you work for a larger company, you may not already know your HR representative so it is important to learn this information. Write a specific subject line. Explain the situation. Clarify what steps you want to take. Close the email. Check for mistakes.
Sitting down face-to-face will ensure they understand the importance of the issue and how it's affecting your work. If you work remotely and your HR team is far away, schedule a video or audio call to discuss the matter. Avoid only putting it in an email, so your tone doesn't get misunderstood.
