A perfectly acceptable way to craft a patent application is to just explain the meaning of the words used in the claim. You goal in the patent application process is to disclose what you have developed. At least one drawing is required if it is necessary for understanding the subject matter to be patented. The first step in the patent registration process includes drafting and filing of a provisional patent.
