Online – log on to your shareholding through a secured page either through the Share registry services page on the Shareholder Centre or the Investor Centre page on Link Market Services website. Complete a change of address form and return it to the share registry.
If you have changed name or address you need to contact the share registry, advising any changes to your registered details (that is, you didn't buy them through a broker) you can change your details online through Investor Centre.
If you need to update any details, such as name or address, on your Issuer Sponsored shares, you must do this through the share registry. You can find the contact details of the share registry on your holding statement. Some share registries may also allow you to update your contact details on their website.
To change a shareholder's information, this being their name, address or even the number of shares that they hold, you need to file a confirmation statement (the filing obligation that keeps Companies House updated on non-financial company information) with the updated information.
