Therefore, jurors are requested to dress in a manner that is respectful to the litigants and the court. You may wear comfortable but appropriate business-like clothing. Shorts, jeans, t-shirts, tank tops and sweatshirts should not be worn.

You are allowed to have food and drinks in the Jury Assembly Room. If you are carrying food or drink into the courthouse, please advise the deputies at the security checkpoint that you are serving as a juror. The only beverage allowed in the courtroom is a water bottle that has a twist top.

Courtroom Regulations Cell phones, pagers and electronic devices must be turned off in the courtroom. You are not permitted to read newspapers or other materials in the courtroom. You are not permitted to bring food or beverages into the courtroom.

Jurors are obligated to remain 'on call' for jury service up to two (2) weeks. During that time, they may be called to serve on a jury. Jurors normally serve from 9AM to 5PM.

If you are selected to serve on a trial, you must remain for the duration of jury selection and the trial. Once your service is completed, you will not be eligible to be selected again for three years.
