You can configure also overrides during FortiAP deployment. In the menu bar, click Deploy APs. Select the FortiAP device to update and select Select Platform Profiles and Overrides. Select the parameters to be modified and enter the new values.
To deauthorize FortiAP devices: Select the FortiAP devices and either click More > Deauthorize from the toolbar, or right-click and select Deauthorize. Select OK in the confirmation dialog box to deauthorize the selected devices.
Go to Security Profiles -> Web Filter and select Create New. Create another web-filter category for users to override the blocked category using another web-filter profile. To use a user/user group to override the blocked category, allow users to override blocked categories and add another web filter profile.
Go to System Settings > Event Log to view the local log list. Filter the event log list based on the log level, user, sub type, or message. See Event log filtering. Download the event logs in either CSV or the normal format to the management computer.
To upload a license file for activation, upgrade, or renewal: Go to Dashboard > Status > License Information widget > Configure License. For License Source, select File Upload. Click Browse and locate the license key file. Click Upload.
Tickets for assistance with Fortinet products may be created through the Support Portal at by selecting 'Create a Ticket' from the 'Support' dropdown option. Alternatively, click on the Product List option and then click on the serial number and then click on create a ticket.
To delete FortiAP devices: Locate the FortiAP device in the content pane, or refine the list by selecting an option from the quick status bar. Either select the FortiAP and click Delete from the toolbar, or right-click the FortiAP and select Delete. Click OK in the confirmation dialog box to delete the AP.
To configure a FortiAP profile - GUI: Enter a Name for the FortiAP Profile. Select the FortiWiFi or FortiAP model to which this profile applies. If you selected a WiFi 6E capable model, select a Platform mode: Single 5G - Only one radio operates on the 5GHz 802.11ax/ac/n/a band.
