IB Credit: UCR awards college credit for most IB higher-level exams with scores of 5 or higher. (We don't award college credit for standard-level exams.)
University of California Riverside IB requirements University of California Riverside may also require students to complete SAT with minimum score of 1315. e) TOEFL/IELTS scores if the applicant's native language is not English. International Baccalaureate Students who complete the IB diploma with a score of 30 or above will receive 30 quarter (20 semester) units toward their UC degree. Students who receive IB certificates with a score of 5 or higher on Higher Level exams will receive 8 quarter (5.3 semester) units.
$57,789–$62,064. Tuition Stability Plan: Beginning fall 2022, tuition will be adjusted for each incoming undergraduate class but will subsequently remain flat until the student graduates, for up to six years.
International Baccalaureate (IB): Students enrolled in IB schools are expected to earn scores of 5 or higher on IB exams, and most admitted students score 38+/42 points on the IB Diploma.
Students completing the IB diploma with a score of 30 or above will receive 6 quarter units (4 semester units) total toward their UC undergraduate degree, in addition to the units earned for scores of 5 or better on designated individual Higher Level exams (usually 24 quarter/16 semester units).
To meet minimum requirements, you must earn a GPA of 3.0 or higher (3.4 for non-residents) in “a–g” courses taken during grades 10 and 11 (including summers before and after), weighted by a maximum of eight semesters of UC-approved honors points.
