Undergraduate students who decide to leave Clark permanently or to not return to Clark should contact the Division of Student Success. Graduate students who are looking to no longer be a student at Clark should contact their academic programs directly.
Clark offers more than 50 undergraduate majors, minors, and interdisciplinary concentrations. Our most popular majors are psychology, management, biology, economics, and political science.
Undergraduate students must declare a (their first) major by the 2nd semester of their sophomore year. Select your Major (& track if applicable), list advisor, get Department Approval/signature, and return to the Registrar's Office. Self-Designed majors (DSEL) must have additional approval.
At the end of the term during which you successfully complete your major-specific requirements, contact the department advisor for the major to request to declare the major. If the advisor and the college determine that you are an eligible candidate for the major, they will submit a request to the Registrar's office.
Declaring a Minor/Concentration You must declare your intention to complete a minor or concentration by the end of your junior year. Minors and concentrations require the completion of a minimum of six courses.
How to Declare or Update Your Major Go to MyClark@Clark page on the Clark website. Log in using your Student Lab account username and password (for login assistance, visit the Clark College Tech Hub) Select "Major Declaration" from the menu on the right side.
