EISEP assists older people (aged 60 and older) who need help with everyday activities to take care of themselves (such as dressing, bathing, personal care, shopping, and cooking), want to remain at home, and are not eligible for Medicaid.
Many people want the same things as they get older: to stay in their own homes, to maintain independence for as long as possible, and to turn to family and friends for help when needed.
Families are the major provider of long-term care for their older loved ones and these unpaid caregivers represent the largest source of long-term services and supports in the nation.

Senior Building Eligibility for Public Housing Applications For single person households: the head of household must be at least 62: or. For multiple person households: Either the head of household or co-head of household must be at least 62. All other authorized permanent household members must be 62 or older.
It can take months or even years to get into a senior living facility if you need subsidized housing or Section 8. If you don't need subsidized housing, you'll find much shorter wait lists or no waiting at all.
