After the add/drop period, students may request a withdrawal from a course(s) via Banner under the Course Withdrawal Options. Students will be able to withdraw from one or more courses (at least one course will remain on schedule) or withdraw from all courses (no courses will remain on schedule).

A Request for Withdrawal form must be completed for students seeking to withdraw. For withdrawals during the school year, the withdrawal process can be handled at the student(s) school and requires up to one (1) business day from the time you make the withdrawal request to its completion.

Generally, the enrolling custodial parent or a legally court appointed guardian can withdraw a student. Be prepared to present picture ID and in some instances, a certified copy of a court order. Verification will be made to ensure you are on the student's personal information card.

Withdrawal from Courses after Drop/Add Period A student may withdraw from a course by filling out a withdrawal form with the Dean of Student Services, Dean of Instruction or Advisor. In unusual circumstances, i.e. a serious student illness, the withdrawal may be processed via telephone and/or fax.
